Three Quotes is funded by its members, not by the companies listed on it. That means we're never pressured to remove or change unfavourable quotes and reviews, which keeps the pricing data honest and impartial.
It was originally meant for that, but nope! You can submit almost any quote you've received — for your car, house, computer, pet… whatever you can think of.
Every quote, review and company has a report button. If something looks inaccurate or inappropriate, flag it and we'll take a look. As a small team we moderate to the best of our ability and rely on the community to help flag issues.
Every quote comes from a real person. We review every submission and also let the community flag anything that looks wrong with the report button. Finally, we only include single-category quotes in our averages so the figures stay reliable.

Free members get one check to try it out. Basic members get 10 checks a month, and Pro members get unlimited checks - useful when you're comparing several quotes for the same job.
The price index is a free guide to what services cost across the UK, showing average prices and typical ranges for each category. The figures come from real quotes submitted by our community and update automatically as new quotes arrive. To keep averages accurate, we only include quotes tagged with a single category.

You can select more than one, but try to keep it as specific as you can - and if you've had a lot of work done, splitting it into separate quotes is really helpful. If there isn't a relevant category, choose 'Other', or get in touch via the Contact link in the footer and we'll advise on the best category or add a new one.
Yes - whenever you're viewing a quote you've submitted, you'll have the option to edit its details or delete it, so you can keep it accurate if anything changes.

Yes. When you submit a quote, you can add the company's details there and then if they're not already on Three Quotes, and they'll become searchable for everyone else.
We share the frustration! But we included reviews so companies aren't judged on price alone - a cheap quote isn't a good deal if the work is poor, and reviews give you the fuller picture.
Yes. If you've used a company, you can leave a star rating and written review to help others decide whether to use them. You'll need an account to post one.
Yes - whenever you're viewing a review you've written, you'll have the option to edit it or delete it, so you can update it if your experience with a company changes.
No. Because Three Quotes is funded by members rather than companies, businesses can't pay to have quotes or reviews removed or edited. Content only comes down if it breaks our guidelines.

You can earn free Basic access by submitting quotes - each genuine, approved quote gives you a 7-day period of Basic, and there's no limit, so you can keep earning as long as you keep sharing high-quality quotes. If you've already bought a Basic 'Individual' plan (7-day or 14-day), the free time is added on to your existing plan. Only high-quality, genuine quotes that meet our standards are accepted.
Yes. You can switch to the Free plan or cancel from the Subscription Management section of your profile edit screen at any time. Your access stays active until the end of your current billing cycle.
Yes. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and Three Quotes never sees or stores your card details.
We use your address so we can show how prices vary by area - your full address is never shown to other users. Separately, your browser may ask permission to access your location; this simply returns closer matches when you look up an address, and the site works fine without it.
By default the site follows your browser's light or dark preference. If you'd like to set it yourself, you can change the theme from the edit screen of your profile.
You can permanently delete your account, and the personal data attached to it, from the edit screen of your profile. If you'd prefer we handle it for you, get in touch via the Contact link in the footer.
Use the Contact link in the footer to send us a message. Everyone with an account can email us; Basic members get a reply within 14 days and Pro members go to the front of the queue with a reply within 7 days.
