Damp Proofing

To front reception, living room and kitchen, details below. Hack off damp affected plaster to the affected areas to a height of at least 300mm above the last sign of moisture content. Inject a new chemical dpc Apply backing coat of plaster,a mix of 3 parts washed sharp sand to 1 part ordinary portland cement (opc)with an integral waterproofer. Apply float coat of plaster a mix of 4 partswashed sharp sand to 1 part ordinary portland cement (opc) with an integral waterproofer. Apply finishing plaster (eg thistle board finish,thistle “multi” or limelite finish) Ensure the backing plaster is not in direct contact with the floor and that a gap of at least 25mm is left between the wall and floor
